In June, the Lao community in the United States celebrated two major cultural events: Sabaidee Fest and the Lao Food Festival.

Sabaidee Fest, held from June 14 to 16 at Prado Regional Park in Chino, California, is an annual Southeast Asian Music and Cultural Festival. The event showcased the diversity of Asian communities through traditional music, fashion, and cuisine. Set in a scenic area with a lake and camping facilities, the three-day festival featured over 50 international artists from Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and the United States, including performers like Sophana, GX2, and Tha Kanit. More than 25 food vendors offered a variety of local cuisines.

The Lao Food Festival, returning for its second year, took place at Mira Mesa Community Park in San Diego on June 22-23. The event celebrated Lao cuisine with over 50 vendors offering a range of savory and sweet dishes. The festival also included cooking contests, live demonstrations, concerts, DJs, and performances by both international and local artists.
