The Royal Thai Police have established a new center to address serious criminal activities, hired hitmen, and powerful individuals associated with organized crime. This initiative, spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner-General Pol Gen Prajuab Wongsuk, seeks to unify law enforcement efforts across the country to combat crimes that pose a danger to public safety.

The operation will target loan sharks, bid-rigging, extortion schemes, and criminal influence on businesses such as factories, transport services, and entertainment establishments. Authorities note that these figures have a strong foothold in numerous sectors and contribute to extensive criminal activities. The task force is made up of senior officers with specialized knowledge in crime prevention and investigations.

This action comes in response to increasing concerns regarding criminal networks functioning in Thailand, including those involved in financial scams, contract killings, and illegal business control.
