Lao and Thai Journalists Explore Khammuan and Savannakhet on Media Trip

Tourism campaign highlights adventure, eco-tourism, and cultural attractions
The Tourism Promotion Department of Laos organized a media trip from January 25-30 for Lao and Thai journalists to discover the central provinces of Khammuan and Savannakhet. The initiative aims to boost tourism by showcasing the region's rich offerings, from natural wonders to cultural landmarks.

Journalists explored attractions such as Sikhottabong Stupa, Xebang Fai Cave, and the Monkey Forest while experiencing adventure and eco-tourism. Mrs. Manisakhone Thammavongsay, Director General of the Tourism Promotion Department, emphasized the region’s accessibility via land, air, and water transport, inviting Thai tourists to discover the charm of Laos.
