Reflecting on 2024, he praised the government and people for overcoming significant challenges and achieving key milestones in executing the 11th Party Congress decisions and advancing the five-year national development plan.

President Thongloun credited these achievements to the unity between the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, state leadership, and citizens, reinforcing their resolve to pursue national defense and economic progress. He urged the people, along with the army and public security forces, to remain dedicated and contribute their strength and knowledge to strengthening Laos’ economic independence.
