Việt Nam-Laos Friendship Association Marks 50 Years of Strong Ties

Celebration highlights commitment to deepening bilateral friendship and cooperation
The Việt Nam-Laos Friendship Association (VLFA) celebrated its 50th founding anniversary in Hà Nội on Monday, reaffirming its dedication to fostering the enduring friendship between Việt Nam and Laos.

In a congratulatory letter, State President Lương Cường expressed confidence in the VLFA’s continued efforts to educate younger generations about the nations' special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation. He encouraged the association to organize impactful activities aligned with major national celebrations this year.

During the event, VLFA President Nguyễn Đắc Vinh emphasized the association’s role in promoting bilateral friendship through communication and cultural exchanges. Lao Ambassador Khamphao Ernthavanh praised the VLFA for strengthening ties and called for increased delegation exchanges and cultural initiatives. The event also honored outstanding contributors to bilateral relations.
