Chanthabuly District Police Command has intensified 24-hour operations to ensure safety, peace, and smooth celebrations during the transition to the International New Year 2025. Special task forces have been deployed at key intersections to manage traffic and respond promptly to emergencies.

Pol. Lt. Col. Phonmany Surinnaphone, Deputy Chief of the Chanthabuly District Police Command, highlighted the coordination with village authorities and neighboring district forces to monitor roads, high-risk zones, and Patuxay Park, the focal point for Vientiane’s New Year festivities.

Residents have been urged to follow traffic regulations, avoid driving under the influence, and safeguard their homes when attending celebrations. Additionally, citizens are reminded to refrain from selling or using fireworks and firecrackers to ensure a safe environment for all.
