Provinces along the Mekong River, including Vientiane, Luang Prabang, and Savannakhet, have been instructed to monitor water levels, prepare evacuation plans, and ensure emergency supplies are ready. With water levels in Luang Prabang and Savannakhet already at flood warning levels, local authorities are being urged to act quickly in case of further escalation.
