The 2024 Xayabuly Phavet Phikhon Festival commenced with the opening of a vibrant trade fair on March 20 in Paklay district, Xayabuly province. Attended by Mr. Bounmanh Sermma, Deputy Party Secretary of Paklay District, district leaders, business units, entrepreneurs, and villagers, the event aims to foster economic growth and cultural exchange.

Mr. Vanitsa Sunakhen, Head of the District Industry and Commerce Office, highlighted the significance of the trade fair within the Elephant Festival, providing a platform for local businesses to engage with international stakeholders. With 62 local and foreign booths showcasing products valued over 1.4 billion kip, the fair offers valuable opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange.
